About the Author F. Scott Fitzgerald
F. Scott Fitzgerald was born on September 24, 1896, in St. Paul, Minnesota. As a boy, Fitzgerald was bright, handsome and ambitious and the pride of his parents. His first piece of writing appeared in print when he was just 13, a detective story published in the school newspaper. He graduated from the Newman School in 1913 and decided to stay on in New Jersey to pursue his artistic interests at Princeton university. He enhanced his writing skills at Princeton, writing scripts for Princeton’s famous Triangle Club musicals, articles for the humour magazine, Princeton Tiger and stories for the Nassau Literary Magazine. After writing a few novels, Fitzgerald decided to move to France, looking for a change in scene to fuel his creativity. The move worked as Fitzgerald wrote, what is now acknowledged by many as his greatest novel, The Great Gatsby that was published in 1925.
He died of a heart attack in 1940, at the age of 44, his final novel only half completed.

Awsome read
The book portrays Gatsby as a very unique and intriguing character. Nick never seems to get his angle and there’s something about Gatsby that he just can’t quite add up. I loved the character development in this book. I’d love to read more of Fitzgerald’s work. It’s been my favourite book for years and I never grow tired of reading it again and again.

The story revolves around the protagonist, a graduate who served in the war from the west and worked as a novel's narrator, and a great mysterious character, Gatsby.Strongly recommend to every reader who wants to pick the next classic fiction for great piece of literature and narration.
Timeless American Art: An Alchemy of Truth and Beauty
This is considered to be one of the best fiction novels and no doubt it is a great novel. After I watched the movie, I just had to read it and oh boy!, what a beautifully written book. The book definitely arose more emotions than the movie. Gatsby is about the emptiness that is profound in the lifestyle of the society where values are completely distanced from the opulence. The more you read this book, the more you would fall into it. This is a tragic love story. The feelings are intense and at times you would feel so much for Gatsby. There are things you can't buy with money and that is what is shown profusely in the novel. This is a very simple story
There is a lot of symbolism that one may want to understand a bit in detail. So do a bit of research on those scenarios that the author is building. This one is a classic and will always be with me. I will always revisit this story. Gatsby is a .great character that Fitzgerald has developed and many people will relate with him. Daisy is the demure girl that many people would feel so much for. This book rouses emotions and feelings to a different level.

This book is a must for everyone. No matter how hard you try love can't be bought. You cannot live for only one dream you should have to have options open. Moral sense of genuiness , sympathy and guilt are qualities of good people. These are the parameters through which you can weight person's character. These are the attributes which draw the line for being human.
